The Vantage reaches new heights with Aston Martin’s Mex’Uk Series
Aston Martin Mexico City has unveiled its unique Mex’Uk Series, which includes six bespoke Aston Martin Vantage coupes created in collaboration with Menchaca Studio, promoters of Wixárika art, a word which translates to “the people” of western Mexico. The six vehicles’ rare designs are inspired by the Wixárika culture, with each car’s specifications representing a distinct “power animal” via hand-painted livery embodying the craftsmanship of Wixárika folk art’s intricate embroidered quilting. Q by Aston Martin, the automaker’s bespoke and personalization division, helped drive the six vehicles’ creation alongside Aston Martin Mexico City and Menchaca Studio. The series recognizes a decade of Aston Martin’s dealership presence in Mexico.

A closer look at each car’s Wixárika-inspired design
These special edition Aston Martin Vantage coupes were designed and named after a specific power animal. The Menchaca Studio worked alongside native Wixárikas to create six beaded statues representing spiritual wildlife, which, in turn, inspired each of the Mex’Uk Series Vantage’s patterns.
One of the six vehicles, Blue Maxa (The Blue Deer), features a Q Special Ion Blue paint and Aurora Blue leather interior. Gray Rawe (The Gray Wolf), is a Q Satin Aluminite Silver Vantage with contrasting Spicy Red leather interior. Crimson Cauxai (The Crimson Fox) contains Special Supernova Red and complementary Oxford Tan leather interior, while Green Xaye (The Green Snake) showcases Q Provenance Buckinghamshire Green exterior paint and a Q Forest Green leather interior. White Terika (The White Scorpion) stands out with Signature Metallic Zenith White paint and Q Eifel Green Interior, and the Red Hukuri (The Red Falcon) distinguishes itself with Scorpus Red paint and contrasting Q Navy Blue leather interior.
Each of the six vehicles’ hoods contains a bronze Wixárika art-inspired pearl bronze design—an idea driven by Aston Martin Mexico City. Q by Aston Martin added custom bronze-painted grilles and side strakes matching each Vantage’s Satin Copper Bronze 21-inch Y-spoke forged wheels. Racing enthusiasts will likely appreciate each car’s Mexico Aston Martin Wings badge, created in 2016 to commemorate winning the World Endurance Championship (WEC) GTE series, but never added to a vehicle until now. The wings separate themselves from their standard core lineup counterparts, with hand-applied green, white, and red colors representing the Mexican flag.
This one-off lineup also contains a “Q” badge, a bespoke Huichol Quilt design embroidered into the leather seats, and custom door sill plaques with the Aston Martin wings. A new Mex’Uk logo found alongside the wings contains a cross surrounded by 10 concentric chevrons, each representing a year of Aston Martin’s Mexico presence, while the cross symbolizes the unity between the automaker and its Mexico dealership.

Final thoughts
The new Vantage is already unique, being the automaker’s fastest model with a 202 mph top speed and a 3.4-second 0-60 mph time. Apart from its neck-breaking performance, the car flaunts an all-new interior architecture with a redesigned center console, physical switchgear, and a fresh infotainment system, replacing the previous outdated Mercedes-Benz configuration. Now, the Mex’Uk Series takes the Vantage to soaring heights with an exclusive lineup that’s highly original and aesthetically pleasing. All six Mex’Uk Series Vantages have been sold, with deliveries beginning in Q2 this year.
