From 7 to 10 August, Timothy Kinoti will be preparing for another comeback, now that he will participate in a Mini Classic rally 2025 organized by Rift1000 at Nanyuki, Laikipia County.
In a post on his LinkedIn profile, Kinoti stated that they are preparing for the upcoming Nanyuki Rally, and his team is closely working on a major rebuild and repair of the Toyota RunX so that it will overcome all extreme conditions of a long-distance, rough-terrain rally filled with dust and heat. Timothy has been using his customized Toyota RunX since the beginning of his rally career journey.
Timothy Kinoti’s journey in rally didn’t start here, as he participated in the 2025 WRC Safari Rally Kenya and won in the two-wheel category with his co-driver, Mildred Kibuuka from Uganda.
The Legend Rally Rift1000 not only offers competitiveness to new rally drivers and also celebrates motorsports heroes and honors rally legends. This year it is in memory of Sardar Joginder Singh Bhachu, who was a successful Kenyan rally driver in the 1960s and 1970s and won the Safari Rally three times in 1965.
